Memory Aid uses your phone's Microphone to listen and transcribe your conversations. Memory Aid does not store the audio of your conversations. You can always Mute Memory Aid

Memory Aid Pro stores your conversations securely using encryption both during transit and at rest. Memory Aid Basic stores your conversations on your device and is only accessible on your device by you. See our Privacy policy for more details
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and enable Memory Aid. Click Back, open Speech Recognition and enable Memory Aid.
